Tips for a Winning Wrap

Plan your design properly. Check the bodywork for recent paint or repairs. Choose the right film for the right application. Before you begin, check the temperature – is it too cold/hot to wrap? Make sure the vehicle is clean then apply the wrap to the flattest part of the panel first. Allow time, don’t rush. Allow plenty of excess to avoid overstretching then remember to post heat!

When applying 3M Wrap Film 1380 Series for colour change wraps, we recommend fitting at 20°C for optimum results. This is to avoid adhesive problems if fitting at lower temperatures.
